Basement Cleanup/Handyman
Well, since we’re snowed in, I’ve got spring cleaning on my mind….time to clean out an out-of-control basement and do some small repairs. Can anyone recommend someone to help cart out and truck away loads of wood and junk from basement….I have an old card from “Jerry’s Rubbish”, but it is quite old Also looking…

Also looking for a handyman to do some ongoing repairs — beginning with caulking of cracks and crevices around windows, floors…bathroom shower and tub, etc.

I have used Irving at 718-678-4986 with great success with these types of jobs. He is great with demo, clean out, structural carpentry/basement, cement, drywall, fixing leaks of all kinds, repairing doors, replacing faucets, etc. When we did the clean out, I arranged the cart myself through Filco and he had a great team assembled in 24 hours that was on time, extremely neat, hard working, etc. His prices are reasonable. I paid three men $400 for two or three hours of work and they cleaned out the entire basement, the backyard, and several other areas and filled a 24-foot box.
