Hi. We just ripped up our existing kitchen floor and are looking to use the subfloor as our finish floor. However, we need to replace quite a few boards. Does anyone know where we would be able to find salvaged tongue and groove subfloor to try and match the existing? We will try Build It Green and the local salvage stores (OGT and Demolition Depot), but are there any other options? Or if anyone is looking to get rid of some, please let me know.

  1. We recently purchased old/recycled white pine to use to patch subflooring that’s now the actual floor in our house – and it all looks fantastic. Per Mopars comment, we were also able to use some wood from closets and bathrooms, but for what we needed we went to Pioneer Millworks in upstate NY – fair prices (I think about $6/sq foot), excellent quality. 800-951-9663
