bathtub/shower setup has a thermostatic termperature control. shower works fine hot and cold, and cold water comes out at normal rate for tub, but as mix hot water the flow rate reduces significantly. The valve is rated for 6gpm.
Annoyingly, the sink faucet located adjacent flows fine and is rated at 1.5gpm. On hot, the flow rate of the sink is 20% faster than the tub.
Cartridge has been cleaned and replaced.
There are no stoppages in the pipes.

Seems the hot water flow rate is sufficient for the shower (typ max 2-2.5gpm) but not enough for the bath faucet. If the tub is downstream of the sink maybe the pipe connection’s too small. Or there’s just not enough hot water.
