A few years ago I bought some from Better Carpet Warehouse on Atlantic near Nevins. Not the prettiest showroom in the world, but the price for in stock rugs was good and they delivered on time.
I may go back there, but was wondering if anyone had other suggestions.
I saw Lowes had a selection of rugs. Anyone know if they will deliver?

+1 for ikea, sitting on one in my office that i put under the chair/desk to prevent wear in the area that gets the most use.
It’s about 10′ x 6′ and i think cost about $100.
And don’t forget Pottery Barn — they’ve actually got good quality rugs at decent prices, and they deliver via UPS.
Carpet Warehouse on Atlantic has a really good selection and good prices, if you want to buy in person.
I strongly recommend ABC basement + a cab home. The clearance section at ABC has some great selections especially with the smaller rugs. The 10 x 14 will be harder to find.
Overstock looks interesting, but it isn’t clear to me how you arrange delivery. I need to arrange for delivery when I’m home (e.g., weekends) and have the guys get the carpets up a flight of stairs for me.
I assume Ikea has some kind of reasonable local delivery service?
I bought some really nice ones from http://www.rugman.com Their orientals are pretty nice….steer clear of the really cheap ones and you won’t get that bad machine made texture.
