In a pinch, seal with a good 50 year latex caulk. Better would be (with power OFF!) to unscrew the face plate, then remove the screw holding the receptacle. Pull this out of the box. Wires are still attached. You’ll have a clear view of the entire inside of the box. If local code permits, line the inside of the box with a fire-rated putty pad. Take care to seal up all holes where the wires are coming in.
Then carefully coil the wire back in and re-secure everything with the original screws.

Just filling the gap between the box and plaster/drywall with the acoustical sealant is easy and could make a significant difference. Wrapping the outside of the box with the putty material would be more work.
If the noise is really coming through the outlets the plastic (rubber?) gaskets sold for stopping drafts might help a little. In any case, they’re cheap and take only a moment to install, so there’s little to loose.
