While researching for relatively painless methods of insulating my freeeeezing extension, I came across the following product, available at a supplier in LIC: http://building.dow.com/na/en/products/insulation/roofmate.htm

Basically, it’s exterior insulation that’s placed upon existing roof membranes and weighted down with ballasts or pavers. Seems kind of too good to be true, given that getting a professional to blow in insulation seems to be the standard. Anyone have any thoughts or experience?
