Basically, it’s exterior insulation that’s placed upon existing roof membranes and weighted down with ballasts or pavers. Seems kind of too good to be true, given that getting a professional to blow in insulation seems to be the standard. Anyone have any thoughts or experience?
Thanks, cmu. What would the practical difference between commercial and residential installation be?
Sounds like a commercial installation. And if you have to put ballast on top, seems like a pretty expensive alternative.
