Trying to decide between Windows We Are and Bay Ridge Windows. WWA has been flakey to deal with so far. Any advice would be great!

  1. I used BRW to replace several windows in my house – they gave me a decent price, but the service was lackluster. The owner, Bill, and the staff had an attitude when I pointed out defects with their installation.

In fact, they tried to blame me for their failures and then demanded additional $ to correct the problems they created.

If I had to do it all over again, I most certainly would have used a different company

    Stay away!

  2. I recommend Windows We Are. After speaking and having visits/quotes from a number of local window outfits, WWA came out on top: customer service, product pricing and availability. I was very happy with installation as well. I bought 5 new windows from them and am definitely going back when the others need replacing.

  3. I bought a few windows from Bay Ridge Windows. I installed them myself so cannot make representation here. They are Ok. The only problem: they forget to call you when windows arrive. Otherwise no problems.

  4. Windows We Are tend to seem flaky over the phone, but I think that is because they just aren’t office folks.

I had WWA install 31 windows in my building. They showed up when they said they would. busted hump to get it done in the 2 days they committed to, and they did a top notch job.

Do they respond to emails? No, not really. Are they a bit flaky on the phone? Sure. Do you have to call them a few times to confirm? Probably (they always had the dates and everything on their end, they would just forget to call me).

31 windows over 2 days and an additional few hours for custom fitted screens.

I recommend them completely. Not the best office types but one helluva window outfit. The final product is top notch.
