Outstanding Electrical Permit

We just found out that we have a open electrical permit on our house (we closed 6 months ago) from 2007. The permit is to move the electrical meters to the outside. The job was never completed. How can I remove this permit from the house? I dont want any trouble in the future with DOB. I tried calling the company in file but their phone number does not work.
