I would like to refinish the inside of 2 cast iron tubs and sinks, has anyone done this themselves or hired a reliable fellow to come to you?
Thanks.

  1. Hi- I am the owner of the antique enamel gas range that you were interested in. Seems I forgot to leave contact info. If you are still interested email me at wax (at) houseowax (dotcom)

    Thanks – Steve

  2. I refinished an old tub myself not long ago and it came out well. I had bought too much of the special paint, so have an extra unopened box (“Tough as tile” – Tub & Tile brush on bathtub refinisher, Brilliant White). Happy to sell for $10 (cost me much more than that).

  3. As eman said, reglazing is just special paint and it doesnt last very long and looks terrible when it starts to wear away. The inside doesnt look bad in the photo–maybe worse in real life. If that’s paint on the rim you can probably carefully scrape it off with a razor blade. the outside can be repainted with regular paint.

  4. Call Edgar at Bathroom Reglazing Pro’s, he has refinished many tubs for me, and they provide a pretty good warranty.
