Who usually files the UCC1 in a closing? The buyer’s attorney or the bank’s attorney… anyone know?

Typically the buyer pays for the bank’s attorney to file it. The bank’s attorney typically uses a filing service, which adds to the fee. If the buyer wants to save some money, buyer can file it, but should ok this with the bank’s attorney first, and the bank’s attorney will probably want proof of filing.
