rubber mats for outside?
We are attempting to make a small playspace in the back of our building. The ground is concrete and we want to put down some rubber mats or tiles to make it softer for the kids. We don’t want to spend too much money, however. Does anyone know of a decent, inexpensive floor mat/tile that…
We are attempting to make a small playspace in the back of our building. The ground is concrete and we want to put down some rubber mats or tiles to make it softer for the kids. We don’t want to spend too much money, however. Does anyone know of a decent, inexpensive floor mat/tile that is suitable for outdoor use and doesn’t require much maintenance? We can pull it up in the winter but the goal would be to keep it down from the Spring through the Fall.
If you search “playground surfaces” you’ll find lots of vendors for rubber mats and mulch. You can also look into the interlocking tiles used as garage flooring, though those tend to be high-impact polymers.
Lowes and Home Deopt both sell interlocking rubber mats….that should do the trick!
