Good sofa store
I need to buy a nice fabric sofa or a sectional. I cannot find any good store that has products worth attention. I do not need anything fancy, rather, comfy fluffy and not expensive. IKEA out of the questions, however. Preferably in NJ. Thanks guys, any ideas please.

Great, thanks guys for all the help.
As to macys I really didn’t find anything worth attention, bo concept is too high for me, although the furniture is fantastic.
I think I will try R&F since they seem to have the comfort I am looking for.
I will give it a shot with Siegermann’s as well, never heard of them before.
thanks again.
Not in NJ but in LI…Siegermann’s in Farmingdale. They are a T. Rowe Show Place….which means you can get the style that you want in a bajillion fabrics. Quick, friendly and knowledgable.
I don’t have a car so I took the LIRR to Farmingdale and then a cab to the store. They drove me back to the rail station.
What style do you want and what is inexpensive?
BTW, George Smith is not inexpensive in most people’s world.
Check out Raymour and Flanigan. They’re everywhere and they’re reasonable. I got a few things there today including a very comfy couch for about a grand. I opened a credit card with them for the purchase and got 10% off. I’ll just pay it off when the bill comes and then cancel.
Good luck.
Old-school option: Macy’s. They have a surprising array of choices and it seems the quality level is at least equal to Room and Board, Crate and Barrel and Pottery Barn (kiln-dried hardwood frames, spring suspension, stain-resistant fabrics, poly-stuffed cushions), although there are fewer options for customization. They are having a big sale right now, which motivated me to go with them and save somewhere between $300-$1200 on the options I was considering at the other stores. (The higher-end prices had higher quality cushion stuffing…)
bo concept has a couple of interesting pieces – and a few really weird ones.
If you are very picky, then try George Smith. They make handmade sofas and have two showrooms in Manhattan:

Try Room and Board. They have a lot of styles to choose from and a good range of fabric choices. I bought a sofa from there 4 years ago and have remained highly pleased. They have a store in Soho, plus a good web site. They’ll deliver throughout the metropolitan area.
Have you tried CB2 on Broadway in Soho? It is the very modern, lower priced store by Crate and Barrel.
