We had Fred from RumbaAir install 5 units of mr slim in 2007, and we thought he was wonderful and very attentive. The installetion took about one month because we opted to have gravity condensation, rahter than the pumps to evacuate the water. The in our bedroom started to leak almost immediatly when the humititdy is high. In March I exchanged emails with Fred and set up appointment for June 1 2009. It was for the annual maintenace and to fix this A/C unit. He never showed up for the long planned appointment and we can’t locate him, the phone we had does not work and his email was terminated. I saw positngs as recent as July 2009 that some people were able to find him. If anyone has the info where to find him we’d appreciate, because we can’t use the A/C in our bedroom, the unit leaks and floods the floor. If he is no longer in business, can someone recommend a place for service and manitenance? I’d appreciate this, since I love sleeping with the A/C on….

If you don’t locate Fred and are going to call around, we had our Mr. Slims installed and maintained by Mike Weston at Weston Bros on our bottom two floors.
Very reliable, good guy, and did a great and speedy job on our house. Have recommended them to a bunch of friends who have also used and liked his work.
Just google and you will find them – in Queens. Admit I don’t know how much maintenance work they do for installations that are not their own though (or their prices for such work).
