It’s not a shameless plug. Being a not for profit, we can’t endorse anyone. But we were obligated to include them in the promotion since Smith’s and Markowitz’s office assisted with mailing, flyering and publicity. It was the community based organizations who were at the forefront in organizing the event, not the elected officials.

I’d say shame on socalled majority leader Smith – but he’s made enough shame himself lately.
