When checking out the deck on the apartment I bought last year I just noticed that leaves and dirt (from planters) are blocking the flow of water. I worry about a leak. Unfortunately the deck has very little clearance (12″ max) and is not sectional, otherwise I’d do it myself. Any suggestions for someone who could do this kind of thing?
you are right to worry about a leak.. you should cask your neighbors for a recommendation for a carpenter to cut out an access panel(about 2 foot square) into the deck to allow cleanout
