multiple toilet clogs
Hello We have 3 toilets (on 3 different floors) and they all seem to be clogging more often. Lately I need to plunge them every couple of days. Will snaking them be enough or is this indicative of something more serious? Why might they all be doing this at the same time? Thanks!
Hello
We have 3 toilets (on 3 different floors) and they all seem to be clogging more often. Lately I need to plunge them every couple of days. Will snaking them be enough or is this indicative of something more serious? Why might they all be doing this at the same time?
Thanks!
Haha, you know, come to think of it, this almost never happens to me, only everyone else in the family (toilet overflowing)
Maybe that would explain it. Everyone is in denial about flushing non-flushables.
Thanks again.
By the way, by “flushing twice,” I don’t mean to flush again if the first flush clogged the bowl.
Flush “mid crap,” so there’s never too much crap and toilet paper in the bowl at one time.
Are your toilet bowls dirty? I’ve noticed than tenants who never clean their toilet bowls tend to have the most frequent clogs. . . . I’m serious, by the way.
Also, if the toilets were replaced in the last ten years or so, they’re most likely have low flow tanks, which do clog fairly easily, so “flushing twice” is often required, especially after a big meal.
Too much fiber in your diet?
Seriously, we started using these antibacterial wipes that say they are flushable but in reality are not.
See earlier threads – it could be a blocked vent.
