updating property data - info??
I’d like to update property data that is maintained by the Property Division – DOF. I know for a fact that the square footage info is wrong – but I can’t locate online where the DOF’s data is kept (I can only submit changed data). This data includes building style, construction quality, exterior condition etc….
I’d like to update property data that is maintained by the Property Division – DOF. I know for a fact that the square footage info is wrong – but I can’t locate online where the DOF’s data is kept (I can only submit changed data). This data includes building style, construction quality, exterior condition etc. and is not on the assessment roll. Any idea where I can find this as it pertains to my building? Thanks.
I’ve been through all the DoF forms and information. You can see the size they have for your building on one of the tax pages but none of the other info is available. I met recently with DoF and the Tax Commission. I brought up that I didn’t know if they had the correct information or not. They said to just send in the forms, so I did. They even told me to send in the size and condition form for the 1 – 3 family building, though that’s not my building type. I’m not sure how much correcting the size and condition of the property is going to do. When I met with them they said that they mostly look at income.
