My neighbors house has been abandoned for sometime and I wanted to know if it was foreclosed on.

I looked it up and saw that it sold for a lot less than my properties worth.

When I saw the deed the seller is an Attorney (Referee) and the buyer was another bank.

Two Questions: If the seller is an Attorney as Referee does this mean this was a foreclosure?

Second why did his property sell for so low? Will this effect the appraisal on my property?
