The Home Maintenance & Repair Course is a ten week hands-on program that covers carpentry, tiling, wood framing, electrical, trouble shooting, tool and work safety tips and much more. I took this series last fall and highly recommend it to all. However, I hear you, Mopar. Ten weeks was too long for me; I ended up having to drop out before completing it because of too many schedule conflicts. OTOH, there is no way this course could be taught in 4 Saturday sessions! Each of the individual sessions last for 3 hours. IOW, this basic course takes 30 hours to complete, not 12.
I wish they would offer an introductory class on a Saturday for three hours. And then maybe a three-Saturday class. Ten weeks is too long.
