My coop needs someone to rewire and replace some lights for the building. Must be licensed. Any ideas? Thanks!

  1. ambnyc,if you don’t mind sharing…what did you spend (approx) to re wire the 4 story/4 family? Did you also have to upgrade the electricity or just rewired for the multiple meters.

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. I second WCK Electric, with enthusiasm. The owner Paul is very knowledgable and has a crew who left our house way better than when they came. We rewired 4 story/4 family, put in 5 meters, etc. etc. Every bit was done meticulously, including making sure everything was straight (which for my perfectionist self was awesome). They know their stuff and the crew was wonderful to work with. I just recommended them to a friend and she called to thank me when they were done, so that makes me feel good about recommending them. They have been my only contractor experience that I have actually enjoyed and we plan to use them on our next project. Tell them Amy & Mike from Halsey say hi. His number is (718) 778-0070. They are on Utica and Atlantic.

  3. I highly recommend R. Williams from It’s Electric. He’s donw a complete re-wiring in my own home and has done successful large jobs for friends and family. Tell him chris from decatur street referred you. you can reach him at 917-531-9286.

  4. Ceriello did a great job for me. Impeccible work and manners to match – almost courtly. God knows, that is a rare and beautiful thing. Their prices were good too.

  5. We used A. Ceriello Electricians for an electrical upgrade. They did a very good job, and were fairly priced. They are located on Carroll Street in Carroll Gardens, closer to Red Hook.
