Underlying COOP Mortgage
Our coop is coming to the end of it 7 yr balloon mortgage at the end of 2009, and with conventional mortgage rates way down we were hoping to get a good rate on the underlying. It is only a ~200K mortgage. Does anyone have recomendations for banks that do underlying coop mortgages?

JPM/Chase does a lot of this.
Maybe Sovereign. Oour co-op originally got a mortgage from Independence, which was taken over by Sovereign, but the same people still seem to be handling their mortgage department. You could also try TD Bank (formerly Commerce). I recently got a commercial loan from them.
