i have good quality wool runners in my hallways and on my stairs. i love it. durable, looks great, warms up the whole apt. i get them cleaned every couple of months by Delmont Carpet cleaners – they are the best ever. i love them. they do my sofa’s and even my wood drapery panels. 1-212-513-7500.

I think it’s very rough on feet. It also lets a lot of grit collect underneath & dig into the wood.
They wear out pretty fast.
