It depends on what the use will be. A restaurant will pay a lot more than say an office or a retail store. I agree with Bessie, I have seen spaces go for $58 a sq. ft. up to $100 sq. ft.
While recently trying to rent my store I had tracked Park Slope commercial rental rates. For storefront space on 5th Ave., there were a wide range of prices available, from about $28/sf to $103/sf. The average seemed to be around $56/sf/yr.
