Appia custom-made our front door saddle. They have lots of selection and their price is reasonable. Best of all, they’re a pleasure to deal with.
I (and my dictionary) think “Lintel” means:
“a horizontal support of timber, stone, concrete, or steel across the top of a door or window.”
You mean “Threshold” maybe?
“a strip of wood, metal, or stone forming the bottom of a doorway and crossed in entering a house or room.”
Most of our thresholds are marble. When one cracked we had one cut to size at Home Depot. Selection is narrow tho. Search the forum for alternative suppliers with better selection.
