I have a Victorian Radiator that works perfectly…my super had been trying to get me to get rid of it for years, but I held on. Unfortunately I just had baseboard heater installed yesterday. The antique radiator is very ornate and it is such a shame to see it go to waste I am looking to sell it asap, because I really don’t want to see it end up in a scrap yard. It measures 26x38x7…best offer takes it…Thanks
Has this radiator sold? If not please contact me at 347-276-2050. Thank you.
I am also interested in this radiator. Please email me at jkatsos@yahoo.com if it is still available.
Thanks.
P.S. Eddie does not touch radiators, just the guy on Myrtle. They need to be properly tested and he couldn’t be bothered with all the risk involved.
Hello,
I am interested in your radiator. Pls email me at kevinonbianchi@yahoo.com. Thanks.
Size is definitely an issue (when isn’t it?) however, if you’re replacing one with same ballpark dimensions, and the same number of tubes, will be ok. It’s the surface area that counts.
You could try to get hold of Eddies in CH and talk to them. It’s beautiful and salvageable- don’t let them trash it.
Okay, sounds good the super had people here to take it away today, but I pleaded with them to hold off…I would hate to see this thing go to waste rusting away on a heap somewhere when it would make a beautiful addition to someone’s home.
I once cleaned a half dozen of them for a friend’s bar. Let me check on this, j-mitt, and I’ll confirm a price on Friday. Ta!
Master Plumber, when re-using these radiators, is size an issue? Are they all comparable even though they come in different sizes?
That’s a great-looking radiator. Please note that particular model can only be used for steam heat.
