here is the ULTIMATE coat stand/coat tree $135

Due to apartment remodeling, I am reluctantly parting with my coat tree. This brawny beauty was purchased at Jensen-Lewis in 1986. The piece consists of four heavy-gauge steel, one-inch diameter pipes. These were meticulously formed into precisely angled shapes and then welded into an upright unit, along with four right-angle hooks made of three-eighths-inch solid steel. The steel is coated in smooth, very tough medium-blue lacquer with black plastic end caps. The effect is pleasingly simple & stylish with construction that is solid & unusually strong. You can pile on those heavy coats and shoulder bags to your heart’s content. The stand is 70 inches tall with a base spanning 24 inches — even if severely overloaded, it will not tip over. This tree is in excellent condition, though one of the smaller right-angle end caps went missing during a move. The picture below is an illustration, which turned out clearer than my amateur photos! View it/pick-up in midtown Manhattan, north of the Flatiron Building. Cash only, no delivery.
