Kitchen range, GE cafe vs Jenn-Air pro style
I love to hear your thoughts and satisfaction level about these kitchen ranges. I like their looks, functions and qualities, but I don’t know how much easy to use, noise and sturdy they are. Thank you!

Normally I like GE, but they have put their consumer appliance division on the market, so future spport could be iffy

Huh, I opted for my Bosch range precisely FOR the continuous grates, and I love it. Anyway, I was told that in general GE appliances have gone downhill and are very unreliable.
I’m not happy with our Jenn Air range/oven either. Same thing, pots slide around too easily on the grates and if you have one eye on, it heats up the connecting grates too much, and if the oven is on it WAY heats up the back grates on the range. I’ve never had that ever, for the oven to let heat escape up onto the range. Huge design flaw.
In general about designs of all ranges, I’m so annoyed with that continuous-grate design on seemingly every range on the market in every brand, and I want to buy a vintage gas stove just so I don’t have to have that!
i despise my 3-yr old jennair cooktop for many, many reasons. the burners are totally unreliable. of the five burners only 2 are reliable.
the design of the grates is awful and if a pan is not placed perfectly, it slides off very easily. and, every time i open the drawer underneath the cooktop, the flames go off and it needs to restart.
i can’t speak to your alternative, but do not buy a jennair
