How does one install a glass shower door (on a tub)? Is it hard? How much does this cost? Does anyone know someone who will do just this for me (i.e. no other reno work)?

There are all kinds of glass shower doors. If you want something with hinges or custom fit to an opening you’re going to need a custom door and a professional installer. My steam shower door cost me $1700 installed. If I had it to do again I’d get a standard, self-install, sliding door and frame/rock around it.
A standard height sliding glass shower door is a lot cheaper and fairly easy to install. Silicon the bottom rail to the lip of the tub. Pop on the sides and drive some screws through the extruded aluminum frames into the wall, pop on the top rail, hang the doors.
