Looking for basement bathroom pros
Hi, I’m in Gowanus/Park slope looking for recommendations for plumbers that are experienced with installing basement bathrooms. I’ve got a basement with a W/D and slop sink hooked up to a sewer ejector pump that works great, but would like to remove slop sink and install a small pedestal sink, toilet and shower stall. Anyone…

I’ve got a basement with a W/D and slop sink hooked up to a sewer ejector pump that works great, but would like to remove slop sink and install a small pedestal sink, toilet and shower stall. Anyone else done that or have a any experiences or contacts to share? We just had a kid and are in dire need for those facilities. Thanks in advance
It’s actually already been inspected for the C of O and the inspector is the one that required a sewer ejector pump instead of a sump. It’s approved for bathroom use.
MP your the man, thanks for replying. Yep, I’ve got an overkill situation here. It’s not a sump pump. It can chop up to 2″ of solid waste NP. I’m looking for basement pros and I’m sure you’d kill it, but I must admit, you may be a little too steep for me.
I just need the roughing put in though, so what’dya think?

Do what you want, but more than likley the Department of Buildings will not approve your having a bathroom in the basement.
It’s a different type of pump that handles waste water from a laundry machine and a bathroom group.
Are you sure you’ve got a sewage ejector pump? Because that’s what the toilet requires but is way overkill for the W/D and slop sink.
More likely, you’ve already got a laundry pump, which is much smaller and would have to be upgraded.
