squeaky stairs
Hi, I have very squeaky stairs in my home, and a couple of them aren’t level. Will a handyman fix these problems? Anyone have a recommendation?

There is no certain answer for stairs.
Many were built not to come apart, so after 100+ years when they do start to stress it is a pain to fix, but something you can do yourself.
Often the treads will be back-nailed into the risers, so you will either have to start from the top of the staircase and pull out all the risers and treads (very time consuming)
or saw trough the nails between the tread and the riser you need to fix.
Once the tread is pulled up, you might have to attach a block inside the stringers to provide proper support for the tread and shims used to level the tread.
Angle nail the tread back in place with finish nails.
