Jalousie windows - louvered glass for interior transom?
We have several interior transom windows to bring more light into interior bathrooms & closets. The glass isn’t installed yet. Yeah, those old transoms were what was originally installed in these homes (I had an apartment with an original one.) You can have them made from clear glass, or patterned glass that gives light but some privacy. Or, if you fnd an old stained glass window in the right size, you can add some beauty. And the brass thingees needed to open and close them are available from antique hardware places you can find online.
Don’t do it that way. Just get an operable transom, a “hopper” type window that you can open and close. The kind of jalousies you’re talking about belong on houses in Florida.
