Original poster here. I ended up using Kate Taylor (recommended above). She did a wonderful job, had infinite patience, was incredibly reliable, and all for about half the cost quoted by Larry Ramos. I highly recommend Kate.

I used this amazing woman named Kate Taylor. She did an amazing job on my apartment and has reasonable rates. She’s also very knowledgeable about green products. 443-465-6490.
We (individually) and our co-op (for public spaces) and our neighbors have all used Larry Ramos (347) 524-7693. He’s careful, neat, a perfectionist, has good color advice and is fairly priced.
