thanks, i was wondering what the view looked like from those buildings. Shame they replaced real grass with astro-turf, but its’ a great view over McCarren.
Hard to spot the brand of the PTAC since it’s got a metal case around it, but a quick google search for PTAC gives you a whole slew of sales sites for pricing. The acronym stands for Packaged Terminal Air Conditioning.
It looks like McQuay PTAC unit. Check their website for different option. You can call Hamilton Air or Astoria Mechanical and they can price it for you. The opening under the window should be 16″x42″ I think. Also Carrier has some units which (heating & cooling) do both and are better for smaller wall openings.
