Sewer Cleanout Grate Cover
Can anyone suggest an appropriate grate cover for the two recessed sewer cleanout “ditches” that are in the picture? One is approximately 15″ x 11″ and the other is approximately 16″ x 11″. Thanks in advance for your help…

use 1/4 mesh and then top with cinder blocks
I had plywood there and it started to rot from ground moisture I guess. Anyhow, I may try your metal bar idea.

or just cover them with plywood
you can also build a grate by stacking metal bars sideways with spacers in between, bolting the whole thing together
