Does anyone out there have a ventless dryer that they can recommend? We are considering a Bosch Axxis model.

  1. 7:45, i wrote this in another post, but the unit i am selling is brand new. my neighbor has the same model in her place… [not] the same specific unit that I am selling. sorry about the confusion. Let me know if any one is interested.

  2. I have the LG WM3431 ventless dryer/washer combo. The load size is a bit smaller than a regular washer but if its just for one or two people I think you would be fine. I put my clothes in before work on a 3 hour delay. I come home and the clothes have gone through a complete cooldown cycle and are ready to be folded. Average load time between wash and dry totals about 3 hours. The LG runs on 110V which is good given the age of the systems in my brownstone. I live in Boston and bought mine at Yale Appliance for 1250. They also had a warehouse sale recently where I saw them for 999. Best Buy has them for 1400. One of the guys at Yale blogged about them which is how I found out about them. Their website is yaleappliance.com . Good luck.

  3. 9:14, are you the person who is trying to sell their ventless washer/dryer on this site?

Because you have said both that it has never been used and that your neighbor has been using it for a year. Which is it???

  4. Many ventless combos are 110v so you can plug in pretty much anywhere, but then they are very slow since the dryer heater is 1000w or less. 3-4+ hours for full load, but otoh, I never saw this as a problem, you just have to plan ahead.

Bosch is 220v and has close to a normal dry cycle since its heater is 3000w.

Contrary to the flip comment above, ventless dryers are widely used (outside the US) and are perfectly usable.

  5. PC richards has one – we just bought it dont remember the model name. However the installation by PC has been a nightmare. Done incorrectly and they blew the circuit breakers. the installation guy asked me what the condensation hose was for ! PC richards had to bring in a mechanic and it still doesnt work. Its been almost 3 weeks now and we have a nonworking dryer in our basement. dont go there !

  6. we have a washer and dryer combo unit that we are trying to sell… it was never used and came with our condo that we just bought. but it doesn’t require an outside vent. how much are you willing to spend?
