I’m looking for an architect with experience doing major renovations on brownstones on landmarked blocks (this one is in Park Slope), particularly with experience with the LPC. Ideally the architect is also based in Brooklyn. Many thanks in advance for your help

  1. AlexFradkoff is not an architect, though he persists in selling his services as one, in spite of having been successfully sued for fraud and forgery for this. the work in that case was not to code. This practice is a public menace. yet somehow, many, many posts re this keep disappearing!!!!!!

  2. OP here

I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to make it an exclusion criteria. Experience with brownstone on landmarked blocks in Brooklyn is of most importance. Thanks for the recos!

  3. Why does the architect need to be in Brooklyn? do you think they’ll get to your place faster than if they are in Manhattan?

I have lots of great recommendations, but you’ve ruled them all out with this odd caveat.
