We need to trim the tree in our front yard that is currenly touching the roof. Any suggestions?

  1. The International Society of Arboriculture has a web tool that lets you search for Certified Arborists. The easiest way is to search by zip code. Here is the link: http://www.isa-arbor.com/findArborist/findarborist.aspx It will give you results for Certified Arborists who work in a wide range of specialties. So you may need to look through the search results to find someone who does what you need done.

    There is nothing to prevent any landscaper, or logger, from calling themselves an “arborist.” Only people who have met the requirements of education and experience to qualify for the exam, have passed the exam, and have remained current with continuing education can be licensed to use the title “Certified Arborist.”

    Among Certified Arborists there are also Board Certified Master Arborists. But it does not sound like a tough job for any Certified Arborist.
