I have a Federal Pacific Circuit Breaker panel with 13 breakers. I also have a separate Federal Pacific main disconnect box with one double breaker. I am considering replacing both of these. Does anyone have any idea what this would cost? Can anyone recommend an electrician who would do a good job at a reasonable price?

  1. I had two Fed Pacific panels replaced with one GE panel for $700. I recommend MAM electric on 3rd ave and 71st. Good work and reasonable prices. (718) 492-6800

  2. We are developing a new publication for Williamsburg Brooklyn and am looking for writers, photographers and advertising sales people. I created 11211 Magazine back in 2000 and have some very interesting ideas for the a new newsprint publication for Wburg. Do you know who are good resources besides Craig’s List or the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce to find people who are passionate about Wburg or Real Estate? Please have them contact me wburgtv@gmail.com. Thank you. Breuk Iversen

  3. Smart move getting rid of Federal Pacific, they are known to be “no blows”. In fact I’ve experienced that first hand. I’ve used Desmond electric. I find them to be good. 718-528-0996. However, you should get a quote from 3 electricians to get an idea of what it should cost.
