Cedar-lined closets
In my basement, there are storage closets that I’d like to have lined in cedar, there are four in all, but I might just have one or two lined depending on the expense. Has anyone done this who could give me an idea of what this would cost and/or recommend a contractor? Thank you.

Thank you.
Can anyone recommend a contractor for such a small job?
the tongue and groove cedar planks can be picked up at home depot or lowe’s. they’re a (relative) snap to install. you can glue or screw/glue them right over the existing plaster/drywall. i did a closet last year. took about 2 hours.
About five years ago, we made a cedar closet by lining a linen closet with cedar tongue and groove boards that you can get at Dykes Lumber. Our contractor installed them and it wasn’t expensive. I’d give you his name, but he’s retired
You can also use cedar partical board which has a nice smell but costs less.
