Our 120+ year old coop (4 floors, 12 units) is researching an electrical uprade. We will go from 200 amp to 400 amps coming in, change the old fuse boxes and meters to circuit panels, add all new wiring up to every apartment, and change all apartments to circuit panels. Getting bids from people is like pulling teeth, but we had a positive meeting with Phaseout Electric but I haven’t seen them mentioned before on any forum. They had some ideas that others hadn’t, like running the wiring on the outside of the building up to each apartment instead of through the walls. Has anyone used them? Please tell me your experience. Thanks.

  1. i would certainly reccommend phaseout. we had a very old main electrical service with 4 meters.we also added additional a/c outlets installed in pipe on the exterior of the building.after the job was done i was amazingly surprised on how the finished product came out.extremely professional and the numbers were there.

  2. we used phaseout for our enitire renovation.what a pleasure they were.they were on time, neat, extremly professional and they matched our budget for which was a major factor.we highly reccomend phaseout electric.********

  3. I used phaseout to install a new elecrical panel, add wiring and mounts for ceiling fixtures and rewire some switches. I would recommend them for price and reliability. However, my first choice would be MAM electric in Bay Ridge, (718) 492-6800. Ask for Gary.

Exposed conduit on the exterior? Or who are you going to hire to cover this work?
