nose treads and procelain tiles in hallway
are procelain tiles durable for the first floor hallway of a 3 family brownstone? any other recommendations…? also we are looking for nose treads (my terminology maybe wrong) that cover the nose and the enitre tread/step? thank u.

No they are not durable. Try quarry tile. What’s under the tile, that is important. Good choice would be a bed of cement, next best cent board (wonder board). Avoid plywood it is too flexible and tiles might pop out or crack.
