I’d like to start a reno blog for the Ditmas Victorian we just bought. I’ve been taking alot of pictures as we’ve removed acoutic tiles, ’70’s wood paneling to reveal some pretty cool ‘hairy’ 100 yo plaster walls with great big holes in them, finding some beautiful old wallpaper 3 layers under the more modern ugly paper I wanted removed … nothing major but over the years we’ll be taking on various small projects and I want to document our ownership & work. Anyway, how do I go about loading the pictures, where do i set it up etc. Flikr? Here? The image sizes are fairly large so I can zoom in & crop on photoshop etc. Just looking for the easiest place to do this.
Thanks
Thank you Mrs. Limestone. With the pro account after I upload the high res photos can I reduce them for uploading to Brownstoner there too?
The blog part you can do here.
As for the photo uploading…Flickr is great but I think its worth spending the $24/year to get the “pro” account. That way you can store your high res files there without any uploading limits. You can use Flickr for free but its a lot more limited.
You can do one here. Just email us at brownstoner@brownstoner.com and we’ll get you set up.
