hi, 5:34am again responding to your question. we used someone whom i do not recommend – he is not licensed. he burned our acrylic tub and refused to accept responsibility. now the tub clogs up every month, the toilet runs continuously and his helper scratched the finish on my washing machine because he was careless with tools — again they did not accept responsibility. Lesson learned — saving money with a “deal” has costs. In the past we used Aladdin plumbers and loved them but now you can’t get them to return calls, they are too successful/busy and have become developers.
Dont use gateway. They are astronimically overpriced.

My office takes calls from 8am to 4:30 every weekday. Beyond those hours, we have an outstanding service that takes our calls and instantly sends us the information. Calls are returned promptly. Appointments are made as requested. Same day service is routinely performed.
Once in a while a call may slip through the cracks. It has happened, I’m aware.

thanks for the comments. who did you eventually use and would you recommend them?? I have called Gateway 4 times because of the great reviews on this site, but I cant get anyone to call me back and make an appointment.
I got a bid from them, for which they charged (I agreed to that upfront) but when the estimator came he demanded more money for gas, another $25 which I refused to pay. The estimate for a full bath reno was done in 5 minutes with no thought or helpful ideas and was on the high end. I did not use them for the project. I would not feel comfortable having them in my home.

We used Caiazzo to replace a simple brass valve on our boiler and to istall one copper union.
It took the service man approximately 30 minutes.
He then handed me a $889.00 bill.
I thought he was kidding me. I refused to pay.
He called his boss and said his boss told me to pay him or he’ll send someone over to “rip the work out”
I paid him to avoid any future problems.
