Oops…sorry for all the postings, I’m new to this. Good luck with the renovation.
I had PR renovate my duplex condo and yes, it seems true that they’re not able to take small jobs at the moment, but this seems to be due to sheer demand. I can’t imagine they would be so busy if they didn’t provide good service. I find them extremely nice, professional, and in fact I think they went way out of their way to make sure I was happy with the design and the finished work. I’m glad their store is in my neighborhood and I would definitely use them again.

Unfortunately, I have to side with the “don’t use Perfect Renovation” people. I’ve done some research and Joyce, it sounds like you got lucky. I’ve found lots of negative reviews on PR in multiple places online. With one common theme. It seems the owners are only polite to customers with big ticket projects.
I’ve used Perfect Renovation for several projects in the past 4-5 years including bathrooms and kitchens. I have had no problem with them; indeed found them to be easy to work with, responsive, reliable, and always within budget. I would recommend Perfect Renovation any time.

I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM PERFECT RENOVATION.
We had a horrible experience working with them. Issues included:
=A ‘Low Ball’ estimate to win the job and a final bill that was over 22% of the initial estimate. Scope of work remained constant.
=Creative interpretations of the contract to justify higher costs
=A disregard for complaints on the work done that were put in writing
=Inability to deliver product according to supplied drawings.
=Discussion about final bill adjustments escalated into a barrage of personal insults and profanity from, Nadav Mazor, PR’s entrepreneur/proprietor
Thank you both for your responses.
Kathy, How did you find Cambria Remodeling? Thanks
We live 2 blocks down from Perfect Reno so we had contacted them for an estimate when we were planning our kitchen reno last year. My only experience with them to report is that after a lengthy phone call with them prior to scheduling an onsite appointment for an estimate, they failed to show up and then never returned my calls when I tried to reschedule. My impression was that they really don’t care about doing a job for less than $20k and obviously don’t care enough about making a good impression to show up and even go through the motions of pretending to care!
