Here’s the thing: its a brand new stove – I’ve have GE come out twice – they’ve replaced the regulator at the suggestion of Keyspan – (who I called out to see if they could help) – The stove guy insists it’s not the stove – and suggests the problem is gas pressure – the gas company says no.
has anyone had this problem? or can u suggest a GOOD plumber? thanks!
Hi – I have a similar problem, only my range won’t work right when the oven is on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Rumor has it, from my architect, that there are sporadic gas pressure problems throughout NYC. Don’t know if it’s true or not, but we once had flakiness on our basement gas stove when the heater/boiler was running full. Hasn’t recurred though so I haven’t looked into it farther.
sounds like some kind of obstruction.. check to make sure the valve is open all the way…maybe replacing it.. or your flex hose isn’t pinched…good luck
Well?????? It can only be blockage in your line or low pressure. Someone is wrong here. Did you check the valve at the meter to be sure it’s all the way open? Plumbers – you can try Gateway, ad to the right. Or John Halad ( in the yellow pages ) Let us know what the big mystery is once you find out.
