Tin ceiling repair/patch
I have a tin ceiling, painted white, with some rusty holes and/or rot in a few of the squares. I’d like to make it look new again, without replacing the whole thing. I should be able to get the materials without a problem. Is there anyone who can recommend a person to repair the ceiling…

You can also try Valley Tin Works who specialize in tin ceiling repair.
just call Abbington tin ceiling on utica av they will have all your answers.
I’ve worked on many tin ceilings. If yours has lots of paint on it, it will be difficult to make a perfect patch that looks seamless with the new tin next to the old. If your damaged area is not large, it can be cleaned up with a wire brush, you can try using a little car bondo to fill any holes or rust. Then simply sand the bondo, prime & paint again. I would give that a try.
