Garbage
Do you know anyone (except Greg’s Rubbish) that I can call to remove some garbage from my back yard (mostly wood planks from a deck, old carpet and small furniture pieces). I was thinking of a “man with a van†type. Thanks in advance….

Found him in the Brooklyn Papers, Did a great job in my basement when i purchased a new home it was full to the ceiling with trash you can barely walk in there in one day everything was cleaned out It was amazing he even sweep the floor and left it immaculate. I called him back for the demolition and gave me a great guy for the sheet rocking. Everything cost me under $1500 and now i have a nice game room downstairs 🙂
The problem with using cheap unlicensed companies is that often they pick up yr. stuff and dump it all illegally—e.g. in empty lots in East New York. So make sure you know where your garbage is going.
I have had good results with MSA Quality. 347-400-1121. Talk to Alex, and he will show up with three men who will cary it out no problem. I once had them carry a tree thru the house (cut up and rolled in tarps) from the back yard.

I’m not sure if he’ll supply labor to get stuff out to the street, but I use them for loose bag pickups after movie shoots, so he’s one of the more flexible garbage companies in town. Worth a try. Also, he’s pretty darn cheap compared to most. I think the owner is Pete.
