Beautiful Mantles for Sale

I am a homeowner, not a dealer.

I have two great mantles for sale and would like to expose them to the Brownstoner community. Both are great pieces for brownstone renovations

For Sale is a great fireplace mantle with ORIGINAL beveled mirror. The mantle has great detail but has been painted a few times over the years. I’m pretty sure it is pine – it can either be stripped or touched up with a fresh coat of paint. It is 82 inches high and 61 inches wide and can fit perfectly on most brownstone chimney/fireplaces. The opening is 33 inches by 35 inches. The mirror is beveled and is original, however it is not attached to the mantle in the pictures (you can see it leaning on the mantle in the last picture below). Price is $1400 or BEST OFFER!!

For Sale is a HUGE Antique Fireplace Mantle. The mantle is 74 inches wide and 96 inches high (including the overmantle). The fireplace opening is 41.5 inches x 36 inches. The overmantle is 68 inches at its widest part and includes a huge, ORIGINAL Beveled mirror measuring 43 inches by 29 inches. The overmantle also includes side mirrors.

The detail on this piece is incredible as it comes from the parlor floor of beautiful, four story brownstone in prime Harlem. Overall condition is good, however it needs TLC. It would be a great restoration project. This mantle would sell for well over $5,000 on any local dealer’s site.
