replace staircase i am looking to tear down the old staircase in my bs wich is not secure any more,and replace by a new one regulard nothing to fancy,for 2floor.and was wondering what will be the cost??? and if someone know any one that can do the job. Thank

Sox Co rebuilt all our rises and treads, they were good. I think all they do is stairs..
We had one flight done by “NY Fine Circular Stairs” and it was under $2000. They did a nice job, but my husband did both landings beforehand, so it was only the steps. Reproducing spindles was extra (cheaper than Tamar or Dykes) and we kept the original banister. 718-218-9051. We’ve been trying to call them to do another job for us and they haven’t returned calls. They’re a small operation. I think they’ve gotten too busy because we keep singing their praises on Brownstoner!
I don’t know how much, but Woodwork Heights does a nice job.
