What kind of paint can i use on a outdoor concrete wall?

we’re looking to create a chalky milk paint look.

I found this water-based stain. What do you think? http://www.tricoat.com/whmnt/whitemoutain.htm#Color%20n’%20Seal

thanks!

  1. There is a specific latex primer for concrete block/cement. Benjamine Moore will last you 10 years at least. Use an exterior house paint. But then again you want a flat chalky serface ( which ironically you get when you use really cheap exterior paint. It’s something paint companies are trying to prevent. )

  2. i’m looking to do the same to my backyard brick wall. i went to benjamin moore and they don’t think it matters much what kind of brick/concrete you are painting on, outdoor paint should be fine. they were more concerned with the texture of the roller.
